At this point we split up those who wanted to work on story and those who wanted to focus more on environments and other areas. This split was before the class split into effects/environments and story I went to look into effects for rain which was the first effect that we knew we would need. I will likely be the one in the group to handle the SFX, when we were splitting up no one was eager to do it, though I figured it'd be a good reason to get better with Houdini. Especially since there is a high demand for SFX artists in the industry these days. Along with figuring out the simulation stuff I was also working on the exterior street set.


I managed to get a pretty decent beta sim working with collisions that will allow for splashing.
